Quantized Audio Splicer (Tutorial #1)

06/20/2012
Normal, IL

A simple patch/tutorial showing you how to splice an audio file into 4 parts, and trigger these different parts via the numbers “1″ through “4″ on your computer keyboard. Then, using the “metro” object and Max’s Global Transport, I show you how to get your keystroke-triggers to sync to the beat of the patch’s overall tempo.

Remix of Porter Robinson’s “language” using this concept: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=45hYiv7h8Ro

Here’s a video of me messing around with a slightly more elaborate version of the patch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hWZ8bSWYV3c

How was MAX used?
