How was MAX used?

Visuals and sound are completely generated live using MaxMspJitter and a Kinect. No prerecorded images or samples

It started as a website for a program called MSP

In 1997, the original website was designed by Cat’s Eye Press to use the Brush Script font, images from a 1974 Schwinn bicycle catalog, and a pastel-to-Howard Johnson color palette. And then things got out of hand.
