Suite für Violoncello & Videoinstallation
Based on Johann Sebastian Bachs “Six Suites for Violoncello Solo” this installation explores the the possibilities of generating interactive sounds and visuals from live recorded material in realtime. Everything you see or hear is either played by the Cellist (Elisabeth Fügemann) or produced from realtime audio- videomanipulation of live recordings. No samples, synths or preproduced material of any kind used.
Programmed entirely in Max/MSP/Jitter.
This video is an excerpt from the first performance of “Suite für Violoncello & Videoinstallation” on 25th of Juli 2012 at the Institute for Music and Media, Düsseldorf, Germany. (musikundmedien.net/)
