V-Module

V-Module is a collection of Max for Live devices which can be interconnected to create potentially very complex real-time A/V processing chains within Ableton Live workflow, offering a Live-like interface to Jitter functionalities in Max.

This modular system allows you to work with Jitter in an alternative way, making quick sketching as well as complex A/V manipulation possible within Live’s workflow, in real time. Through Live’s interface the system supports clip envelopes, automation, modulation and flexible MIDI mapping. V-Module makes large use of Jitter’s OpenGL methods.

How was MAX used?

V-Module is a Max for Live (M4L) environment and relies on the synergy of Max/MSP/Jitter and Ableton Live: Jitter as main "engine" and Live as user interface.
