UBC Toolbox

by

The UBC Toolbox is a collection of 50+ modules that can be used to quickly construct Max patches.  The modules include players (eg. fm players, soundfile players, samplers, granulators, etc.) effects units (reverb, delay, chorus, audio units, etc.) input/output modules (panners, pitch-trackers, network connectors), and other modules.  The modules are added to your patch as bpatchers and are designed to interconnect easily and can be controlled programmatically.  As well, the  modules can be interfaced to NoteAbilityPro music notation program for live performance control.

The modules can be downloaded from: http://www.opusonemusic.net/muset/toolbox.html. Installation and operation instructions are also included on the website.

What about Windows (7) users? A comment in the tutorial states ‘only for Mac’. Thanks

Most of the UBC toolbox modules with run on Windows except for a few which use 3rd party externals that don’t have Windows versions. It is only the interconnection with NoteAbilityPro that requires Mac OS-X since NoteAbilityPro does not run on Windows.

The first part of the tutorial uses two bpatchers called FM_PLAYER and SFILE PLAYER which are in themselves MAX patches.. by taking them into “patching mode” i see the effort into creating it.. Thank you.

MY question is is there a way to see ALL what your toolbox contains, and if so, where or how?
I am trying to edit the envelope ADSR or modulation INDEX by the way..
