Woodpecker creates fast 16th note midi sequences from your keyboard input. It’s designed to allow you to bring this very electronic feel into a live ensemble, free of set tempos and click tracks. There are options to allow you to vary the feel of the sequence, play triplets, and explore various arpeggiation styles.
This sounds like a treasure. The discription alone is giving me great ideas for driving my custom designed DMX/RDM lighting controller… along with gating my live bass signal in sync with it all. Hmmm I’ll need to trigger it some other way since my hands are busy….Footpedals or the accelerometer I mounted to my bass should work nicely. Thanks for the inspirations.
