Making Standalone Applications with MaxMSP

Can I use Max/MSP to create standalone audio applications?

Yes. The OS 9, OS X, and Windows XP versions of MaxMSP let you create standalone audio/video processing applications, although the methods used varies slightly depending on the OS, and you may have to alter your program slightly.
