Up to this point, all sequencers use the most logical step behavior: forward. Other modes, like backwards and back and forth are also available. In this video, we make use of the 'random' setting which moves to a random stage in the sequence each pulse. This can provide some spontaneity to your sequence. The step behavior can be set for each sequence, so, for example, your pitch sequence could move forward while your velocity selection is random.
