Using the route object
The route object tries to match the incoming message to the object's own arguments, outputting a bang from the corresponding outlet or the string of data following the matching message. Any non-matching messages will be output from the right most outlet.
route is extremely useful for sorting blocks of data and routing out to separate outlets, or not at all.
route Tips and Workarounds
• Something that route does really well, other than matching very particular data, is that it can match a message type. For example route int float bang
