    Slovakia is among the few nations in Central Europe that has a well-developed dual culture heritage. For centuries the nation was either completely Catholic or Protestant, later about the Roman Catholic Church was absorbed to the government and the Protestants forced their way into the authorities. The nation, now called Slovakia, was a former Eastern Bloc country for over a hundred years. The government, now called PC Slovakia, has been working hard to market this multi-cultural heritage.
