    hello there,
I have a patch full of #0_blah send and receive objects. First of all, is there any documentation about the #0 argument ? Second, is there a way to retrieve the number #0 changes into, without having to alter the patch in which it is implemented ?
    thanks,
    gideon

Max tutorials & topics, at the end of the "Arguments" chapter (page 420 in my version)

You can attach a receive to one of the #0 arguments and use a "grab 1 receive-name" to retrieve the number. for example
in you #0 patch place a messagebox with #0-id, attach a [receive getid]. in you other patch place a [grab 1 getid], bang it and you'll get "2456-id" or something similar out of it.
