I'm creating an art installation and need to do something very specific as part of a critical step: using two cameras of the webcam sort (or better) separated about the distance of a pair of eyes, I can send both QT signals into a patch, but what I want to do then is process them both so that I am left with one black and white movie signal where closer objects are whiter and farther objects are increasingly darker. It would work like our own binocular eyes. Everything past a certain distance would be all black, but once that threshold is passed, a person's image would become lighter as they approach the cameras. Also, the greater the resolution, the better.
Any ideas for this?
