a meta-max patch that helps the user choose patches by fuzzy logic and tags.
The problem: the current way we choose what max patch to use is via a file directory.
There's a number reasons this is in inferior, but in short it is a less intuitive way of navigating patches.
An interesting alternative is a system that shows patches based on a weighting system of "tags".
In short, a database of patches has attached tags.
Fuzzy logic is used as the weighting system to show the user only certain patches. The UI are knobs defined as - "happy","joyful","Sad","Scary".
A tag based approach is an improvement as well because it showcases patches that are relevant, i.e. none are missed (like some are due to the quirks of navigating file trees).
of course a database of max patches is needed. This is another problem to tackle entirely. this would be easily resolve by a public code repository (github) that just has these as resources. (it would also just be a hell of alot easier to develop a personal collection of patches)
