abstraction containing js: name conflict

Max doesn't seem to like when an abstraction has the same name of a javascript. I can understand this fact (although it should take care of file extensions, shouldn't it ?), but I'm curious if it depends on the OS or something. From the example Mattijs posted in this thread (linked below) I suppose it works for him but it doesn't here, for sure. So what about other people ?
    see this example:
    Best,
    Julien.

      Hi Julien,
FYI, I don't experience a problem here, strange.. But I added another version to that thread where the names of the js are different from abstraction names.
