AppleScript en MaxMSP

Hello! Does anyone know if it's possible to control AppleScript from
within MaxMSP? For example, to start AppleScripts based on specific
values calculated within MaxMSP. Otherwise some OSC layer in between
    iTunes and something else.

      Hi Weyert,
you can send messages to applescript with the shell object.
for example, a message like this :
osascript -e 'tell application "Finder" to open'
to the bill orcutt's shell object will start itunes.
I will post a more documented message to the list with more examples
      and a patch.
      Hope this help.

You can also use Tim Place's tap.applescript
It is always a good idea to query www.maxobjects.com for such questions.

A very powerful alternative to AppleScript is Appscript:
