When I encapsulate the rotatexyz-object, it does not work (see patch: the encapsulation is called 'ThisEncapsulationDoesNotWork'. When you de-encapsulate it, pressing the toggle switch induces the sphere to rotate).

Something similar happens when I encapsulate a set of objects to enable full screen (set of objects at the bottom of the patch, where I use the escape key for turning on/off full screen). But in this case, when I click on the ContextComposition01-window, pressing escape does work for turning on/off full screen mode.

Is there something specific about attrui-objects that makes them not work when encapsulated? Or am I overlooking something else?

attrui's must be connected directly to the object they are inspecting. you could simply replace your attrui with a [ prepend rotatexyz ].
