I'm currently trying to put together a project that communicates from TouchOSC to Max. With the Touch OSC controls, the user will be able to control the volume and tempo of 4 different audio files. Additionally, I want to randomize which audio file is played when a bang is sent from Touch OSC.

While I was able to get my volume control working, I have been struggling to create a patcher to adjust the tempo of the playing audio file, as well as a simple way of randomizing the audio clip.

I gave the gizmo~ object a shot but I don't think I know how to use it properly.

Finally, I made a mistake by putting my groove~ audio files inside a sub-patch. I feel like this will give me problems in the future because as I want to control the different aspects of each sound as its playing, shouldn't they all pull from the same file? Thoughts? (Oh and I would test this out if I knew how to set it up appropriatley haha)

Any thoughts/insights would be greatly appreciated!
