This was a performance at the miami Museum of Contemporary art, where we (Jiae Hwang and myself) hooked a dancer, Ana Mendez up to various sensors and mapped her movement to audio and visual systems I made with max/msp Jitter. I think the result is pretty promising concidering we only had a week to put together this version of the performance and now we have been refining the technology for months and will be pitching it to more art institutions with far more refined process. The name of our performance group is "Kinetic Aesthetic Research Foundation" and the video can be found here.
Feel free to view my other work on my site, as I do plenty of things you may find interesting.
Id love to here questions and comments. We used the AUVI objects for this (which I love, so smooth) though the next version might be more OpenGL on new intel macbook pros. (unless auvi goes UB)
