backslash on coll is not yet running ?

hi
before, i have used on coll that useful syntax :
1, \; hello 100;
for send message via message box.
I try again that method, and coll doesn't want to closed the coll. so, it mean it's a wrong writing.
does that kind of writing is not again possible ?
