Breath Control for EWI Saxophone

Hi maxer,

I'm working on an EWI USB saxophone in max/msp 5. I don't how find the breath control in Max. http://www.akaipro.com/ewiusb Is someone can help me ?

Given its a USB device, the system will need to recognise the USB input as a MIDI device, which may require a software driver... Not too sure about that. With that said, Breath Control is usually sent as CC 2 (Midi continuous control) on the instruments MIDI channel. That means [Ctlin] with appropriate port settings/arguments (if the device is recognised as a midi port) should report the breath control stream.
