Bug? bad midi file

    Sep 06 2006 | 3:21 pm
Summary: attempting to read MIDI file fails with 'bad midi file' alert.
Steps: Create a seq object and option-click on it. The file seq.help
opens, but an Alert pops up saying "seq_sc.midi: bad midi file".
Expected result: no alert, just load the file
Actual result: see above. No file loaded
Ditto for follow.help with follow_sc.midi. I've tried the read
message and several MIDI files, both those in the Max factory install
and some of my own. (I came across this first in lp.vim.help and
thought it was my MIDI file). Seems to happen with every MIDI file
    I've tried on:
    Max 4.6, OS X 10.4.7
Am I wierd, or is this happening to other people?

It has been reported yesterday, and is supposed to be fixed for the
      next update.

Nice to know I'm not alone. Don't know how I missed the prior report.
      Sorry about the noise.
