Building an application to launch as minimized - OSX

    Hi,
I have a client who is looking for a "driver"-type of max app, that simply runs in the background. Ideally the patch would run at startup as minimized as possible - is there a message to feed max to achieve this?
    Thanks, Andreas.

You can launch applications at startup hidden in the "accounts" preferences under system pref.

If you're on OSX compile the app then go System Preferences > Accounts > Select the user you will log in under, then select the tab "Login Items".
If you add the app there to start on log in, and check the "Hide checkbox", it should launch and be tucked away in the background. Might do the trick.
      Cheers, Owen

That sounds great - thanks, OSX-buffs!
      Andreas.
