for an exhibiton app I'm programming a GUI with 8 bpatchers. 

When the user clicks on one of the modules, it should grow in size and the other

I achieve that right now by using the sendbox command to move the presentation_position of

the other bpatchers, the ones that are lower index than the clicked to the left, the ones with higher to the right.

That works so far, but causes a very high CPU peak and "jittery" movement while all the bpatchers move aside (atleast on a less powerful Computer).

My question, is there any better solution for what I'm trying to achieve? A smart idea of reducing the computation on moving all those patchers? Or maybe something with jitter?

PS: Pardon for no patcher attached, the exhibiton is a commercial projet for a clientso I can't share the patchers. I hope my way of doing it is understandable without the patch!

PPS: While writing this post, I thought about just using the bpatcher offset message to move them to the side. I guess that should work and is probably less CPU heavy than moving the bpatcher object itself?
