I'm drawing a texture pattern onto a jit.gl.gridshape and would like to change the background color of the gridshape itself, not the color the texture pattern. 

gl_color message acts on the texture but not on the the 3d object.

the default mode of blending object color with a texture is to multiply, so you are seeing the result of multiplying the white and black of your texture with the object color.

I made a 2nd texture & changed the gridshape @blend to "exclusion" .

I'd like to get the texture white (moving up and down) onto the cylinder in green.

How does it work. How to set the background color of the 3d object itself ?
