counter stuff

    hi,
I wonder if anyone has a better handle on the logic of this... I'm trying to feed a counter a random number which it will count up to and then send a bang when it reaches the maximum to trigger a new random number. However, if the new random number is higher than the old one, rather than starting the counter from the minimum count number, it just counts up from the previous value. if i make the bang trigger a number to reset the counter, then it displays this number instead of the max count number. um, hope this isn't too convoluted an explanation of my problem.
    thanks

      Something like this?:
      -C

yeah, exactly like that acually. i think i get why that works - i was trying to reset on next count rather than immediately. thanks a lot
