Custom MIRA-compatable externals? Or perhaps a [mira.mirror]?

I'd love to be able to see things on the ipad (ideally natively in MIRA) that currently lie outside of mira's scope... most notably bach.score and jit.window's that display lyric content.
When will c74 release an API for third-party development, and if that's still no where in sight, what are some good (non-VNC) options for mirroring a select portion of your OSX screen on an ipad or other tablet device? What would be super sweet I guess is if c74 developed it's own [mira.mirror] object that would let you click and drag over any portion of your screen and let that be sent to a corresponding box within your mira.frame. For my immediate purposes, I could deal with up to a 5-10 second latency even if that were the case. Anything, just let us see more things without having to switch between apps!!!
    Thanks, G

No interest to anyone here? I can see how the mira.mirror thing might be a difficult thing to implement, but if the mira developers could somehow make a selectable 2d frame to display specific parts of your screen remotely, I'd think MIRA could really expand it's user base (and make a lot of Maxers live's incredibly more fun and productive!).
Guess I'll keep dreaming all by my lonesome, unless anyone has encouragements/alternative suggestions! Thanks!

Yes, I could really use an API for 3rd-party MIRA development. I have got some many custom UI externals that I would love to display on the iPad.
      Maybe next Christmas?

I too want bach.score in Mira and am looking for a way to display notation on iPads.

      Any luck with that Christopher?

No hope still for a mira.mirror or bach.score display?

GMIX, how about using our bach to MaxScore bridge and displaying scores in Mira this way. See http://www.computermusicnotation.com/?p=1402.

Maybe post this as a feature request on https://github.com/Cycling74/miraweb/issues ?

Hi! If there's still interest in capturing the screen and displaying it in mira, there is a pair of objects that will do the job: [jit.desktop] and [fpic]. I've actually just shared an abstraction that does (almost) all the work: https://cycling74.com/forums/pedrnun-miralizer

@Pedro That link does not seem to work.

@tconnors Thanks for reporting it! It should be working, now. If not, just copy and paste the link.
