hi all,
i am having trouble in opengl, whereby when i add or delete a new gridshape object (which in my project i am doing dynamically though javascript) the depthbuffer or the blend_enable mode seems to toggle on and off.
now i am running this sample patch on a macbook pro running up to date max/msp jitter and when i delete the sphere all transparency and depth is lost, when i undo and add the sphere back (or add another similar object) the transparency and depth is rendered again. (this can also happen in reverse)
on a ibook g4, however, (running the pre- universal binaries max/msp jitter) this does not happen. adding and removing an object does not affect transparency of depth?
does any body have a clue as to why this is happening, is anybody able to replicate this issue on their own machine?
