envelopes

    hi all
so far, i've been using this as a half sine envelope running off groove~'s sync output.
does anyone know of any objects for applying different envelopes? just a basic hamming would be fine.
    thanks

      Isn't a Hamming just a cosine?:

oops, my mistake. i didnt post all of my message properly. i meant to say, just a hamming would be fine, but if possible i'd like something a bit more flexible. the ideal envelope would basicaly just very short fades either side of the sample. just wondered if there were any externals to do it?
thanks for your reply - and pointing out my mistake :)

Use groove~ running trapezoid~ with the right outlet.

yeah, played around with lin~ and a b.p.e but i wanted something i could run from the sync, so trapeziod is probably the best bet. does it start at 0 or will i need to offset it like with cycle~ (.25 to .75)?
      thanks guys
