I'm hoping someone smarter than me can quickly see where I've gone wrong... maybe even some optimisations as well?

I'm using poke and peek from a data object for the list of events and I think it may have something to do with the first step not being read correctly but I'm not sure, but basically one step is missing with settings that have a high step count. Try it with 13 steps and 16 for the length and you'll see...

Never mind... It was as expected... I just needed to start at 1 rather than zero for the steps.

Nice work. I'd love to try something like this out with my daisy. I recreated the patch and notice the missing steps as well. What did you change to fix it?
