Is there a simple way to export a single line of data out of a 

 object? It appears that I have to export the entire contents of the dict as either JSON or YAML, but that I can't spit out a subset of its contents.

Is there a simple way to export a single line of data out of a dict object? It appears that I have to export the entire contents of the dict as either JSON or YAML, but that I can't spit out a subset of its contents.

Currently, my work-around is to get the data out of the dict through a listfunnel, into a coll and write the contents of the coll. However, this seems to me to be a bit of a kluge...
