extremely trivial max 5 feature request

    any chance we can specify the buffer length in samples instead of ms when using buffer for windowing etc? maybe add an attribute like @units samples

      not as elegant as an attribute, but you could use the "sizeinsamps" message to buffer~ in the meanwhile. vb

      that message isn't documented as far as i can tell.
      petter -> you can find various shepard tone examples on the list. If you like I can send you a report i wrote at uni, which has some details about how i do it.

      i use "setsize" or what it is and do the samples-to-milliseconds conversion myself.
      you need to do that for more than the buffer object anyway.
