fenv object

    hi
    i just downloaded the ircam's RMI lib
    opening the first tutorial patch brings an error: "fenv : no such object"
    i was unable to locate this object: anyone knows what fenv is and
    where to find it??

      Hey KAsper,
      I found fenv in a Max@Modalys folder, probably downloaded from Ircam
      too. I send you the object privately!

      I bet its a floating point version of env, they had also a fline which
      would just multiply the int by 1000 and afterwards divede the result by
      1000. to get a resolution dehanced float version. They even had a
      fchange, in this case it could make sense to get lower resolution than
      32-bit floats...
      line and change do floats in the mean time, the manual does not indicate
      this for env. (then you could just replace fenv with env...)
      I am sure it was an abstraction, if you need I could make an abhaXion...

      You should test if the results are consistent... fenv might have been
      just an env which could be fed with time in seconds, then delete the
      deviding part at the end..

      many thanks
      since in the mean time i got the object (thanks Patrick) i can tell
      you than it is not an abstarction, has 1 in and 3 outs
      so far i was not able to locate it in the ircam patch as soon as i
      see it i will try yours instead
