In some situations the fingerpinger has proven to be a little unstable. I created an application for MacOS around this object (and a few others) that is called IoR. It allows you to send trackpad data over udp to for instance live. You can find it here:

Fingerpinger only works when the M4L patch is open in max.

Does anyone have an idea about what causes this problem?

having the same issue as @crampe ! I'm on live 9, has anyone gotten fingerpinger to work in any version of ableton?

Is the source code anywhere? I can't get it to work at all in Max 8.
