I have a patch that get the x and y axis data from a joystick (the axis are between 0-1023 and I mapped it to be 0-127). 

It is visualised it with the picslider object.

I would like to control with it the position of a sound in 4 speaker environment. I got no idea how to transfer this data so I could use it with the pan4s object.

I numbered them 1 2 3 4 in clockwise circle.

Try this simple panner.
You can reroute channels as wished, 
I numbered them 1 2 3 4 in clockwise circle.
The main point is equal power panning.
