fullscreen in a mac

I can't get the top mac menu or dock to go away when I run my jitter video window fullscreen, instead they're laid over the image. Also, is there a way to make the fullscreen mode add "widescreen" or "narrowscreen" black bars (ie. not stretch the image to a different ratio), or do I have to manually add those into the image itself? Thanks.

send a "fsmenubar 0" to the jit.window and menu wil go
you have to add the bars yourself maybe make a subpatcher with black bgcolor and send "fullscreen 1" to a thispatcher then send "front" to a jit.window
all menubars and dock's are gone
      like this
some how it only works with the delay in it...
      strange ...
      -mj
