general plea for help in the SF bay area

Hello! I'm just getting started with Max/MSP and am looking for a little bit of coaching with it- less on writing all the code, more on the way the computer talks to the machine, I/O configs, etc- trying to avoid buying more hardware than the budget allows. The piece is a 25' tall kinetic sound sculpture. The sound system rotates and tilts to track nearby people (looking to use cyclops for tracking) and the sound comes out of a 3 way concert level horn system (also looking to use Max as a digital EQ/XO). The piece itself is in our studio in Oakland (real close to the bart) and I live and will be doing most of the programming in SF. We need to get this going to be ready for showing it in the Coachella festival in late april- time enough to get it put together, but it just needs someone to bounce ideas off of, troubleshoot, etc. If you're at all interested in helping a couple artists get this thing put together right (oh, and it is built and has run- we're just redoing the computer end) let me know. We'll see if we can get you another pass to the festival or pay you back somehow. Thanks for reading!
