Note to c74: This object is part of a series of MSP tutorials as well as a standard help patcher. In each case the omx.peaklim~ object's arguments are provided via a slider scaled 0-100, which is the correct range for the object. Why is this not documented, and worse, why is it essentially hidden from the user?

The documentation AND the help patchers both indicate that the range is something like -24 +24 dB, or at the very least something measured in dB, and use the object's own status output to display this range.

In order to discover the correct behavior the Max user has to:

1. try to implement the object in a patch and discover it's not working

2. search the forums for a rather old thread that does not fully clarify the issue

3. return to the tutorial and/or help patcher to investigate

4. unlock the help/tutorial patcher and open the slider inspector to discover the correct range

This is SILLY. As a useful object featured in the MSP tutorials omx.peaklim~ should be documented correctly and updated if necessary. It's way less work for c74 to modify some of the help patchers & files than it is for the user to have to dig so deep.
