This is related to fft but not in the usual way, and I can't figure out what to do.

I need to analyze the amplitude distribution of a random pulse signal.
I need to count the amplitude of every pulse, and get a list to write a pulse height histogram of the (let's say 1024 ) amplitude bands averaged in 60 seconds.
