Help with jit.gl.sketch please...

I want to use jit.gl.sketch to create a score interface. Basically
3d objects will represent elements of the score which I can then
move around. Is there a way I can create a gl list of commands that
represents an object and then assign it a name? I then want to be
able to reference that object by name and translate it. Ideally
by using the mouse to drag it around. What would be the best way to do this?
    Thanks,
    Anthony

i think you're best most flexible solution will be using java(script) or
      lua.
see the opengl listener example provided with lua (there is a cool one for
      java somewhere in app folder)
