My feeling is if you're looking for more than 2k presets you should have switched over to pattr a long time ago - maybe this is the time?

theres one thing someone said you can do with preset than you cant do with pattr, and that is you can use negative preset values, but I never tried it.

hi , thanks guies , i have already been using pattr , but didn' t know about the preset limitation . i find preset' s storing/recalling style pretty cool , when i'm lazy ... So i'll have some good time converting my presets into pattr ! ... thanks for the advices . Matthieu

You can probably automate the conversion by counting through the presets and storing them? Shouldn't take more than 10 minutes that way.

that was exactly my intention ! no need to click those presets by hand !
