How to create a transparent window?

Imagine I have a Quick Time Video playing on my screen. I now place a transparent (alpha channel) Max Window on top of it. I would still see the Quick Time video. Then I could add visual elements to the Max Window on top of the quick time video.
The reason I'm asking is because instead of Quick Time I will be using Animata, an animation program that creates puppets. I would like to add some jitter elements ontop if the puppets and then project the whole thing.
    Ideas?
    Have a good weekend!

      Hi yagodequay,
if you want to make a transparent max window, you should set the "window flags float nomenu notitle" and nogrow probably, and set the patcher background color to something transparent. But you would have a difficult time moving the window like that. The panels at max 6 have the "window drag" attribute i think that when click on a panel and drag (on a locked patcher) the panel drags the window... I dont know if it works with transparent panels, but i do not see the reason why not! Nikolas

jit.window (or jit.pwindow) cannot be transparent.
