how to display _parameter_shortname of live.numbox?
Hi,
how to display _parameter__shortname of live.numbox?
hint to this att says it is possible but I found no option.
If you want to show a description next to a control, then why not just use a label aka [comment] object?
The parameter names are most commonly used when you're mapping the controls; then Live needs to rely on the device to tell it what it's actually mapping. So then it'll use and display these names.
But otherwise I'd just focus on your overall UI, thus rely on a comment.
if it is only to display just add hint, and/or info view text

Thank you, for answers.
I have 32 live.numboxes and need titles for orientation. Of course I can use an extra text-field but shortname info says it can be displayed. For live.slider it worked.
That means the parameter info text for parameter_shortname is wrong here?
live.numbox displays no text at all, only numbers.
live.dial or slider can, if set so in inspector

short name you mention is only used in automation lane I think,
I don't use Live.
If you need orientation on the GUI, then you could use different colors,
grouping on the screen, like 8 x 4 etc
and ... hint
