This is bugging me so hard (for years ?...) :

how can I make a m4l device that allows to save different states with the liveset, given that data must be recalled from bpatchers ? 

For some reason, I never encountered a M4L device with this capability. 

I attached a very simple example. Help would be so welcomed.

setting the parametermode of the numberbox to "hidden" works.

- It will mean that I'm loosing the ability to automate the numberbox (which in this case is not too bad). Any way to preserve this ? 

- What's the benefit of naming the [pattr] object ?

after some test it also works with parametermode "Automated" but will produce an undostep in Live when changed from the preset.

Well. I'm sorry, but it doesn't work in real life for some reason....

Would you mind taking a look at the real patch. It's super simple, just a way to remap incoming notes from 36 to 51 to other notes.
