This is a patch created by Cycling74. I am trying to apply a texture to this shape but it does not display properly. 

It is all black. Probably it is like only one pixel is being displayed.

Could someone please could help me to find out what the problem is and how can I fix it to display a texture of any size?

you have to give your mesh texture coordinates (2nd input). you are only sending 3 planes of vertex data. you can send these directly from the gridshape matrixoutput by connecting a second [ jit.unpack @jump 2 @offset 3 ] and sending that to the tex-coord input of gl.mesh. the jit.unpack args tell the object to ouput 2 planes starting at plane 3 (planes 0 1 2 are vertex X Y Z, planes 3 4 are texcood S T).
