Inconsistency in seq~

Sequences within seq~ can be chosen with a number (seqnum + number) but it's not possible to use a number rather than a symbol to add and delete events.
It might be nice if delete and add accepted a number as argument to select the sequence to be edited too.

i may be misunderstanding but say you have 'seqnum 3'... i notice that i can do "add seqnum 3 0.5 my event" to add 'my event' to 0.5 time of 'seqnum 3'(and "add seqnum 3 0.75 my 2ndevent" to add 'my 2ndevent' to 0.75 time of same)... but you are partially correct: doing the same thing with "delete" does not seem to work for me so far...

Send a bang to seq~ afterwards and you'll see that the sequence has the "seqnum" identifier rather than the number 3. So, it doesn't work...

ah, you're right(i hastily tried within the help file only viewing 'dump' results printed in Max window).
      my mistake.
