- I have two separate integers (dividend and divisor) feeding into an [expr].

- Anytime, I increase the divisor, I'd like the dividend to scale to retain the original proportion.

- Anytime, I increase the dividend, I'd like to shift the proportion.

I've set up two instances of a combination of [trigger], [thresh], [change], and [gate] to watch each variable and gate loops from feeding back/ stack-over flowing. 

- The first (of two) gate serves to allow me to scale/ update the dividend when changing the divisor.

- The second gate serves to allow the output of the equation from looping onto the dividend, while adjusting.

- As it sits, I can only adjust the divisor once before needing to adjust the dividend again to avoid the fault. If I were to adjust the divisor a second time, it would jump to an unscaled value trapped behind the first gate.

- If I move the 1 (the dividend) to 4, I'd like to get 4. 

- If I then move 8 (the divisor) to 2, I'd like to get 1.

just as with any other object, it will accept "set 17" to only set at the hot inlet.

I'm really just kicking myself right now for forgetting that I could use the set message. That's so much simpler.
