I'm trying to figure out a way for a plugin to A) communicate with all the other plugins ONLY on the same channel and B) disable the newly added instance and C) re-enable the initial instance. Or make it similar to how matrix ctrl works where only one can be on at a time and it switches the other two/three/etc off.

Attached is my attempt at it, but I haven't been able to get it working reliably.
