Seems like all you could do in a locked patcher is send "edit" to [dict] but there's no way of being notified of the change. You would have to poll it which is a little nuts.

I don't see an editor in C or javascript or anything. I guess you could hand code one that traverses the hierarchy but that seems like a lot of work. Is that what I have to do?
