nothing on that on the LOM, only "store_selected_variation" adds a new one but don't save the selected one...

Just to make sure we're talking about the same thing here, you're looking for a way to remotely trigger, via the API, what Live 11 calls "Overwrite Macro Variation", correct?

It does seem strange that the LOM supports so many of the new Variation-related tasks, except for that one.

There are other new-for-11 features that don't have complete API support yet, either. For example, there is currently no way to engage the new "Scale" button for MIDI clips via the API.

I am hopeful that these remaining properties & functions will trickle in as part of future point-releases.

Is there a way to save/store the selected variation in LIVE 11 with the API ?
