To make the attached patch work (ie, start drawing properly), I have to option + click -- open up the help file -- to get it to start drawing properly, or at all actually. Let me know if I'm doing something wrong. I've always had a strange relationship with jit.gl.multiple.

in the spin patcher, there is a [r loadbang] that never gets sent a loadbang. opening the help patcher sends that loadbang, which causes it to work.
